Highway One was unconditionally the most beautiful coastline

we've ever laid eyes on!

Around every single corner of the road a new fairytale moment was waiting ready sweep us off our feet’s. Our favorite sing along music on the radio, wind in my hair, his hand in mine - the feeling was beyond amazing.

Around noon we found this cosy little riverfront restaurant called “Big Sur River Restaurant”. The food wasn’t anything special, but the picturesque surroundings truly covered it all up. After lunch our waiter escorted us down to the river, to let us enjoy an ice-cold beer, while literally sitting in the refreshing running water.

Definitely the way to spend a romantic afternoon!

About 12 hours of stunning scenery, romantic swims and delicious picnics later we kissed goodnight upon a good, old and last but not least - DANISH meal in Solvang.. A little danish town placed right there in the middle of the U.S. You can take a girl out of Denmark, but you can’t take Denmark out of a girl! What an absolutely beautiful day.
